Spring officially kicked off six lovely days ago on March 20, 2018, at 12:16 p.m. in the Northern Hemisphere. Yes, we were so excited for burgeoning little flowers and warmer days that we counted it down to the minute. We've had our fill of hibernating in the perfect hygge space and binging on Netflix; we're ready to bid the gray days of winter adieu and spend some time outside.
This past winter, the sludge was a little too deep and the wind was a little too cold. And just when we thought we wouldn't make it through another gray day, our buyer laid before us a pile of Hawaiian goodness to remind us that Mother Nature's more palatable seasons aren’t too far off. Say aloha to Maui Jim sunglasses.
This Sunday, April 22, is Earth Day—the foremost holiday for environmentalists and old hippies alike. It's a day many of us will spend time participating in some local eco-friendly activity like planting trees, sowing gardens, or cleaning up trash from a local waterway.
