Teacher Appreciation Week

Between March and April is an exciting time for students: spring break. Then when May comes along, it’s time for the teachers to shine. The first full week of the month is Teacher Appreciation Week!

How to Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week

After almost a year of virtual learning, most parents are recognizing, more than ever, just how hard teachers work to enrich the minds of their little ones. For this Teacher Appreciation Week, here are some ways to show your appreciation:

  • Thoughtful Notes or Cards
Kind words from students and parents can show them that what they do really makes an impact. They will treasure these messages forever and refer to them on their bad days.
  • Helping Hand
Teachers always have their hands full. Check in on them and see if you can lighten the load of their busy schedules in any way.
  • "Me" Time
Caffeine and time to sit back and enjoy a book is much needed by teachers. Gift cards to coffee shops and bookstores are great for them to get some undisturbed “me” time.
  • Share the Discounts
Plenty of businesses offer discounts for teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week and all year round. Put together a list of deals for their favorite places to dine and shop.

Glasses are a great gift idea for teachers, but it’s not practical if you don’t know their style or prescription. Share our teacher discount so that they can choose their own eyewear and receive 25% off!
