New Glasses for a New You

Amanda Schafer

New Year, New Glasses

Try a different New Year’s resolution this year by switching up your style with some new eyeglasses. Glasses are fashionable accessories for the face and are the first thing people see when they look at you. It is a bold representation of your style. Here are some different ways to change your look with new glasses:

Get Crazy with Colors

Both lenses and frames come in all of the colors of the rainbow. With all of the different options at your disposal, there’s no need to stick to the usual black, brown, or gray.

Play with Patterns

Look for a mix of colors in different designs and patterns. The popular tortoise shell pattern comes in more than just black and brown. You could also try out animal prints, polka dots, floral, and more.

Switch Shapes

Branch out from the usual rectangular or rounded frames, and look for more unusual shapes such as geometric or cat eye. These will make an immediate statement and add some edge to your look.

Go Rimless

Rimless and semi-rimless eyeglasses are back in style in a big way. They add a little twist to the usual frames. Since most of them are metal, they are easily adjustable to fit any face shape.

Mix Materials

Are you conflicted about which material of glasses you want? With mixed material eyeglasses, there’s no need to limit yourself to just one. These eyeglasses include both metal and plastic into one frame for a unique and timeless design.
