Four years ago, we took a leap of faith and stepped outside of the contact lens world we'd known for over two decades. We decided that the time was right to do for glasses what we did for contacts—provide customers with an online shopping experience that guaranteed great quality eyewear and service that has since been called stellar. (We couldn't forgo the humble brag.) We jumped into the idea with both feet, and it's been a spectacular ride ever since. Initially, we sold brands like Nicole Miller and O'Neill at discounted prices but eventually made a move to create our own brands. "Instead of charging hundreds of dollars for established brands, we found we could produce high-quality frames at a fraction of the cost," said Brian Frank, VP of Digital Marketing. Our team put their heads together and created our first in-house brand Lunettos, which continues our best-selling brand. And our bestselling frame of all time? The Lunettos Brian. Not unlike our Monster-drink driven, musician-in-training vice-president they're named for, the frame is bold and classic with a little edge.
Since that first day in September 2014, we've sold heaps of glasses, which is nothing short of extraordinary in our eyes. We worked hard, honed our brand, and continue to evolve and innovate to make savvy shoppers look amazing.
